Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Software Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and test embedded software for automotive applications, including ADAS and vehicle connectivity, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of embedded automotive experience, strong C/C++ skills, RTOS proficiency, and hands-on experience with CAN/LIN or Automotive Ethernet, ISO 26262 or AUTOSAR familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years in embedded automotive software development.
• Proficient in C/C++ and RTOS environments.
• Experience with CAN, LIN or Automotive Ethernet.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 or AUTOSAR standards.
• Strong problem-solving in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for automotive applications.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers.
• Implement algorithms for ADAS or vehicle network communication.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and power for embedded systems.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
