You will lead a team of engineers, drive system specifications, verify performance, and ensure compliance with standards while collaborating across software, mechanical, and firmware domains to deliver innovative solutions in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years in electrical systems design and integration; 3+ years in lead role.
• Proven track record in complex electrical systems for defense, aerospace, telecom, or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, power electronics, signal integrity, EMI/EMC.
• Experience with system modeling and simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of complex electrical and electronic systems from concept to production.
• Define system requirements, specifications, and interfaces for various subsystems.
• Oversee the selection and integration of electrical components, including processors, power supplies, sensors, and communication modules.
• Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance and project direction.
• Conduct system-level performance analysis, simulation, and validation testing.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, certifications, and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and firmware engineers to achieve seamless system integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues during development and testing phases.
