The position offers a blend of on-site and remote work, requiring collaboration with project teams, travel to sites, and mentorship of junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience with focus on power systems.
• Experience designing/implementing medium and low voltage distribution systems.
• Proficiency in electrical design software: AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, PSS/E.
• Knowledge of SA electrical codes and standards (SANS).
• Experience with renewable energy systems (solar, wind) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for industrial applications.
• Conduct detailed calculations, simulations, and analyses for electrical components.
• Prepare technical specifications, schematics, and documentation.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical equipment.
