WSP in Africa seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to join the property and build services team. You will provide technical leadership as the electrical design authority for high-reliability power systems across data centre and industrial projects.

Lead the design and delivery of HV/MV and LV systems, focusing on resilience, redundancy and operational continuity in power-critical environments. Data centre experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc Eng. or B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech Eng) required.
• At least 10 years consulting engineering experience with building services and industrial environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate electrical designs, calculations, budgets and tender specs.
• Lead HV/MV/LV design for data centres with emphasis on resilience and redundancy.
• Coordinate with global multidisciplinary teams across project life cycle.
• Develop client relationships and act as technical advisor on data centre projects.
• Manage project finances: hours forecasting, WIP and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with IEC/SANS/BS standards and project deliverables.
