Job summary

ShopriteX in South Africa seeks a Lead Functional Analyst to drive e-commerce platform configuration and omnichannel solutions. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable functional designs and work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and engineers to deliver customer‑centric online experiences.

You will mentor Analysts and lead agile delivery, ensuring quality through testing, go‑live readiness, and post‑implementation support.

Qualifications

3-year IT qualification is essential.
SAP Commerce or equivalent experience is essential.
Business Analyst / Functional Analyst course or similar is essential.
MS SQL fundamentals certification is desirable.
+5 years’ experience in a Senior Functional Analyst or similar role is essential.
Experience in software testing and IT Support & Operations is essential.

Responsibilities

Perform functional and technical analysis of complex requirements and solutions.
Translate requirements into fit-for-purpose functional designs and detailed specs.
Define testing, training, and implementation procedures for delivered solutions.
Lead and coordinate development and configuration initiatives.
Champion agile methodologies and facilitate ceremonies.
