Job summary

Simera Sense seeks a Senior Document Controller to oversee and enhance document control processes across projects. You will ensure integrity, traceability and governance of critical information throughout the lifecycle, coordinating with Development and Operations teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The role requires extensive experience in document management, ISO 9001 understanding, and strong coordination with cross-functional groups to improve workflows and systems.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Formal training or a relevant certificate in Document and Records Management is recommended.
• Experience with Teamcenter and EDMS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity, accuracy, and traceability of controlled documents and configuration records throughout the product lifecycle.
• Review documents for compliance with procedures, standards, templates and approval workflows.
• Support internal and external audits by providing complete and accurate records.
• Provide guidance on document management procedures to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain customer and supplier documentation distribution lists and registers.
• Handle document metadata quality checks and timely dissemination of documents.
