About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Senior Dispatch Manager to lead their transport operations based in Vereeniging . This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site leadership and strategic remote oversight to ensure the efficient coordination of a large fleet and a team of dispatchers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing dispatch strategies, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the daily dispatch operations for a significant fleet.

• Collaborate with other departments, including fleet maintenance and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation dispatch or logistics management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large fleets and complex dispatch operations.
• Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
• Proficiency with advanced dispatch software and transportation management systems (TMS).
• In-depth knowledge of South African transport laws and safety regulations.
