Placements24 is seeking a Lead Project Manager in Polokwane to drive digital transformation across critical programs. You will manage end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional projects with a hands-on leadership style and strong stakeholder engagement.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in PM, with 7+ years in digital initiatives, and fluency in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall. This role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and vendors in a dynamic services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/IT/Business; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years PM experience; 7+ yrs digital transformation/IT.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional team management.
• PMP/PRINCE2/Agile certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and success criteria with senior management.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for digital programs.
• Lead, mentor, and manage project teams across functions.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies in delivery.
• Monitor performance, address variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Oversee risk management and change management activities.
• Coordinate with IT, business units, and external vendors.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.
