Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Data Architect to act as a strategic technical advisor among Sales, Clients, and Delivery. You will shape data strategy, governance, and AI adoption across opportunities in enterprise data platforms, working with clients and partners in South Africa.

You will translate complex strategies into compelling executive narratives, collaborate with C-suite stakeholders, and help localise global offerings for our market while mentoring sales teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture, consulting or pre-sales.
• Experience with data platforms, analytics and AI adoption.
• Ability to translate tech strategies into executive narratives.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic advisor to Sales and Client Managers in executive discovery.
• Understand business data requirements including governance and AI readiness.
• Define target-state architectures, roadmaps and investment priorities.
• Develop commercial models and support client opportunities.
• Localise global data offers for the South African market and mentor teams.
