Job summary
Blue Pearl PTY LTD seeks a Senior Data Analyst/Engineer to stabilize and enhance a tactical reporting solution within a healthcare data environment, transitioning toward Power BI. The role blends data analysis, BI development, and data engineering to reduce manual work and fix data issues during go-live and early production cycles.
The ideal candidate will own Oracle-driven data profiling, advanced SQL, and report automation, while engaging with business users and delivering robust validation
Qualifications
- Must have strong experience with Oracle Database.
- Experience with Advanced SQL is required.
- Proficient in Power BI and report development.
- Experience with data analysis and profiling.
- Ability to perform data validation and reconciliation.
- Ability to perform business requirements analysis.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience with quality assurance and testing.
- Ability to automate reporting.
- Experience with production reporting support.
Responsibilities
- Stabilize and improve the tactical reporting solution post go-live.
- Reduce manual data preparation and reporting effort.
- Resolve operational data issues and improve reporting processes.
- Support initial production reporting cycles and fix gaps.
- Maintain stability during transition to future-state MVP.
- Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Document data flows, controls and reporting processes.
- Support Power BI transition and automation initiatives.
