Job summary

Blue Pearl Pty is seeking an Intermediate Data Engineer with strong Power BI expertise to support its People & Analytics team. You will design and maintain enterprise HR data pipelines, transforming data for reporting and analytics, and deliver interactive dashboards to drive workforce decisions.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in data engineering, strong SQL, Databricks, and Power BI experience, plus cloud skills. This remote role collaborates with a global HR audience and analytics peers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple enterprise sources.
• Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for HR analytics.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting environments.
• Optimise data models and reporting solutions for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot data issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Document data processes, models, and technical solutions.
• Support continuous improvements to analytics capabilities.
