Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior CS&A Engineer to lead civil, structural and architectural engineering within a highly regulated environment in Warrington. The role supports CS&A design deliverables and interfaces with integrated design teams, facility teams and other project functions.

The candidate will deliver high-quality engineering solutions, calculations and drawings, with experience in nuclear interfaces and a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified CS&A Engineer or equivalent via experience.
• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer preferred; Incorporated Engineer minimum.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., nuclear).
• Experience designing concrete, steel and masonry structures.
• Proficient in steel and concrete design to current codes.

Responsibilities

• Support CS&A design deliverables including designs, drawings and reports.
• Check and approve outputs for compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Produce civil/structural calculations and design substantiations.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, scopes of work and method statements.
• Collaborate with integrated design teams and project stakeholders.
• Undertake site visits to support delivery.
• Present technical information to diverse audiences.
• Deliver work independently within multidisciplinary teams.
