Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Senior Credit Risk Manager to lead its risk management function in Kimberley. You will develop and implement credit risk policies, oversee risk assessment processes, and ensure the portfolio stays within acceptable risk parameters.

This is a key on-site leadership role focused on safeguarding financial stability. You will lead a team, refine credit risk frameworks, and provide expert advice on risk strategy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in credit risk management in banking or financial institution.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing credit risk frameworks and policies.
• Strong analytical, modeling and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine credit risk policies and procedures.
• Oversee credit assessment process for corporate and commercial clients.
• Monitor credit quality of loan portfolio and identify risks.
• Develop and manage credit risk models and early warning systems.
• Provide expert advice to senior management on credit risk strategy and appetite.
