Placements24 seeks a Lead Credit Risk Manager to oversee the credit risk portfolio and guide strategic risk decisions from Centurion, Gauteng. You will develop and monitor robust policies, lead a team of risk professionals, and drive best practices to safeguard the institution's financial health.

The role requires expertise in credit risk modeling, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning, with a focus on delivering sustainable growth and governance across the lending portfolio.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related quantitative field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in credit risk management, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Proven track record developing and implementing credit risk policies and frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of credit risk modeling, Basel III/IV, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
