Placements24 is seeking an experienced Corporate Event Planner to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate events in Sandton. The role requires creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and strong project management to deliver flawless execution from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in corporate event planning, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency with event management software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate event planning or management.
• Proven track record of successfully planning and executing complex events within budget.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, and execute a wide range of corporate events, including conferences, product launches, and client appreciation functions.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
• Develop creative event concepts and themes that align with client goals and brand identity.
• Oversee event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, AV requirements, and catering coordination.
• Manage event timelines and ensure all milestones are met within deadlines.
• Conduct post-event analysis, gather feedback, and prepare comprehensive reports.
