Job summary

Placements24 in Midrand is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee complex building projects from planning through handover. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, quality standards, and strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Reporting to senior management, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage procurement, risk mitigation, health and safety, and provide regular progress updates.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven project management experience in construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Lead and motivate site teams including supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards on all sites.
• Manage procurement, tender evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor progress and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
