Placements24 is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee diverse Pietermaritzburg projects. You will manage all phases from planning to handover, delivering on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

The role demands strong leadership, deep construction knowledge, and the ability to coordinate clients, subcontractors and internal teams on significant KwaZulu-Natal initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Construction Project Manager with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, materials and applicable regulations.
• Proficient in project management software and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, timelines, budgets and resources.
• Direct and supervise site activities ensuring safety, codes and quality standards.
• Manage subcontractor relationships including selection and performance oversight.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Prepare and present project reports highlighting progress, risks and finance.
• Ensure permits and licenses are obtained and maintained throughout.
