Job summary

Jobs 4 All in South Africa is hiring a Professional Construction Manager to lead on-site activities from initiation to completion. The role requires SACPCMP registration and a national diploma or degree in construction management or related field.

You will manage subcontractors, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, coordinate with clients and authorities, monitor progress, control costs, and drive quality workmanship across multiple projects in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Professional registration with SACPCMP is required.
• National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in construction management on commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary construction sites and teams.
• Solid knowledge of building regulations and safety requirements in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from initiation to completion.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, contracts, and regulations.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for management and clients.
• Maintain Occupational Health & Safety compliance and company safety policies.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Manage schedules, labour, plant and materials efficiently.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, architects, and authorities.
• Control site costs and assist with budgeting.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input.
• Maintain proper site documentation and reporting.
• Drive productivity and uphold high workmanship and professionalism.
