Job summary

Headhunters is seeking an experienced Construction Programme Manager in the Western Cape to lead multiple roofing projects. You will plan labour, equipment and resources, review contract documentation, and drive on-site execution to meet deadlines and budgets.

Key requirements include SACPCMP registration, a relevant diploma/degree, health & safety qualifications, and 5–10 years of construction management experience. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in construction management and SACPCMP registration.
• Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site practices.
• Experience across commercial, industrial and residential roofing projects.
• Ability to lead project teams and manage subcontractors effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage master construction programme and project schedules.
• Plan labour, equipment and resources across projects.
• Review specs, drawings and contracts before start.
• Lead pre-contract meetings and handovers.
• Monitor progress and implement recovery plans for delays.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement and Commercial teams.
• Provide leadership to Project Managers and Site Supervisors.
• Ensure projects meet contractual requirements and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections for workmanship and safety compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
