Placements24 is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead major projects in Mossel Bay. You will oversee all phases, develop strategies, manage budgets, and guide teams including subcontractors and consultants to deliver safely, on time and within scope.

The role requires a proven track record in large-scale construction with strong leadership and stakeholder management. An opportunity to drive significant projects in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction field required.
• 10+ years of proven experience managing complex construction projects.
• Experience leading project teams and managing subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, risk management, and contracts.
• Solid understanding of building regulations and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies and work plans.
• Manage budgets, track financial performance and control costs.
• Lead project teams, site staff, subcontractors and consultants.
• Ensure adherence to HSEQ standards.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
