Placements24 is seeking a Senior Construction Foreman to lead on-site operations in Bloemfontein, supervising trades, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring safety and quality on diverse building projects.

You will read construction plans, enforce safety regulations, manage material delivery and on-site staging, monitor progress, and report issues to the project manager to ensure timely, compliant project completion. This role requires hands-on leadership and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Extensive practical experience as a Construction Foreman or supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of trades, methods, and materials.
• Proven leadership of construction teams.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.
• Experience on diverse Bloemfontein-area projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of site personnel, trades, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure construction work is safe, efficient, and compliant with plans.
• Interpret drawings and provide clear on-site instructions.
• Enforce safety regulations and lead toolbox talks.
• Coordinate materials delivery and on-site staging.
• Monitor progress and flag delays to the project manager.
