Placements24 seeks a seasoned Senior Contracts Manager to oversee high-value construction contracts in Sandton. You will draft, review, and negotiate EPC, FIDIC, and bespoke agreements, manage the contract lifecycle, and advise project teams on risk and commercial implications.

You will lead contract administration, coordinate with legal counsel, ensure compliance with SA contract law, and contribute to strategic decisions for Gauteng projects.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent in Contract Management or Construction Law.
• 10+ years of experience in construction contracts management.
• Experience with EPC, FIDIC, and bespoke contracts.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts (EPC, FIDIC, bespoke).
• Manage contract lifecycle from tender to close-out.
• Oversee contract administration, variations, claims, disputes, time extensions.
• Advise project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risks.
• Coordinate with legal counsel on complex matters and dispute resolution.
• Ensure compliance with SA contract law and company policies.
