Placements24 seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of construction and development projects in Randburg. You will oversee from inception to completion, ensuring scope, budget, timeline and quality objectives are met.

The role requires strategic planning, risk management, and strong leadership across teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing complex construction projects, with PMP as a preferred asset and extensive experience in planning software

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
PMP certification is a strong asset.
10+ years of project management experience in construction and real estate development.
Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
Experience with MS Project or Primavera P6 and financial management.
Strong negotiation, communication and leadership skills.
Experience managing stakeholder relationships and resolving conflicts.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end management of construction and development projects, ensuring strategic alignment and successful delivery.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Oversee and coordinate activities of project teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
