Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking an Operational Compliance Manager to lead the Group compliance framework within the Finance team in Midrand. The role focuses on establishing, maintaining and enhancing regulatory and governance standards, with oversight of risk, policies, training and advisory support across the business.

The ideal candidate will have a Law/Compliance background, 5–7 years in compliance-related roles, and experience with GRC systems, POPIA, regulatory audits and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent Senior Certificate.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, Internal Audit or Governance roles, with demonstrated exposure to regulatory environments
• Experience with compliance or GRC systems

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Group compliance framework, policies and procedures.
• Oversee monitoring plans covering key regulatory and operational compliance areas across operations.
• Coordinate second line reviews to assess adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Provide guidance to business units on interpretation and application of compliance policies and expected standards.
• Oversee investigations, remediation actions and governance reporting across business units.
