About the Role Our client, a prominent mining operation, is seeking a dedicated Senior Community Relations Manager to join their team in **Polokwane**. This role is central to fostering and maintaining positive relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and government bodies, with a strong emphasis on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. The Senior Community Relations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement strategies, managing social impact assessments, and ensuring the company's operations align with ESG best practices. This position requires excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, along with a deep understanding of community development and corporate social responsibility. You will play a vital role in ensuring the social license to operate and contributing to the sustainable development of the region surrounding the **Polokwane** mine. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Sociology, Public Relations, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful community engagement plans.
• Strong understanding of ESG principles and frameworks.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
• Experience in report writing and presentation development.
