Placements24 is seeking a Senior Community Outreach Coordinator to lead outreach initiatives. This remote-first role supports the Centurion community with partnerships, events, and volunteer mobilization, aligning with our client's mission to strengthen neighborhoods.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in community outreach with strong stakeholder relationships, strategic planning, and superb virtual communication. Remote collaboration and independence are essential in delivering impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Administration, Marketing or related field.
• At least 5 years progressive experience in community outreach or development, preferably non-profit.
• Proven ability to build and maintain diverse stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic outreach plans.
• Excellent virtual communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive community outreach strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships with local community groups, businesses, government agencies and other stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate virtual and in-person community events, workshops, and information sessions.
• Mobilize volunteers and resources to support community initiatives and programs.
• Manage communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and online platforms, to promote outreach activities and engage the community.
• Collect and analyze data on outreach activities and community needs, providing regular reports on progress and impact.
• Advocate for community needs and facilitate access to organizational services and resources.
• Provide training and support to junior outreach staff or volunteers as needed.
• Stay abreast of community development trends and best practices in outreach and engagement.
