Placements24 is seeking highly skilled pilots to join a reputable commercial airline base in Kimberley. You will command and co-pilot commercial aircraft, ensuring safe, punctual and efficient transport of passengers and cargo while adhering to aviation regulations and company procedures.

The role requires leadership, strong decision-making, and superior safety awareness, with opportunities for advancement and travel benefits for pilots and families.

Qualifications

• ATPL license with fleet type ratings.
• 1500+ total flight hours (as required by regs and policy).
• Strong knowledge of flight planning, navigation, meteorology and aviation law.
• Valid medical certificate and ability to pass recurrent training and checks.

Responsibilities

• Command and operate commercial aircraft safely and efficiently, adhering to flight plans and procedures.
• Perform thorough pre-flight inspections of aircraft systems and weather.
• Communicate effectively with air traffic control, crew and ground personnel for smooth operations.
• Handle flight emergencies and unexpected situations with professionalism and calm.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation regulations, procedures and systems.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure passenger comfort and safety.
