Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to drive security engineering initiatives and mentor a team in a fully remote setup.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise and a strategic mindset to design, implement, and govern enterprise security across networks, cloud, and applications. You will collaborate cross-functionally to elevate the organisation's security posture and ensure compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cybersecurity engineering and architecture.
• Deep expertise in network, cloud and application security.
• Proficient in scripting for automation.
• Experience with security frameworks and regulatory standards.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions.
• Architect and implement secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Develop and enforce security coding standards and best practices for applications and infrastructure.
• Oversee cloud security controls for AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Mentor and guide junior security engineers.
