Job summary

LSD Open is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud environments for enterprise customers. You will modernise legacy applications with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes and containers, and design microservices with 12-factor principles.

You will build IaC using Terraform, implement CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps and GitOps practices, and mentor engineers while leading customer workshops. Remote, full-time role across international regions.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on AWS engineering and architecture experience.
• Proven experience transforming legacy apps into cloud-native architectures.
• Strong Kubernetes and containerisation experience.
• Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code expertise.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and GitOps.
• Familiarity with Java/Spring, .NET Core, Python, NodeJS, Go.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud environments.
• Modernise legacy apps using cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes and containers.
• Design microservices and 12-factor application architectures.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps and GitOps.
• Lead customer technical workshops and solution discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with customers and technical teams on cloud transformation projects.
