Job summary

LSD Open seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer for remote work to design and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud environments for enterprise customers. You will drive cloud-native modernization, Kubernetes containers, and IaC with Terraform, while advancing DevSecOps, GitOps and automation.

You will mentor engineers, lead technical workshops and influence cloud innovation across customer environments. This is a hands‑on role with collaboration across regional and international teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on AWS engineering and architecture experience.
• Proven experience transforming legacy applications into cloud-native architectures.
• Strong Kubernetes and containerisation experience.
• Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code expertise.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and GitOps.
• Knowledge of microservices and 12‑factor principles.
• Proficiency in Java/Spring, .NET Core, Python, NodeJS, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud environments.
• Modernise legacy applications using cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes and containers.
• Design microservices and 12‑factor application architectures.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps and GitOps.
• Improve application performance, scalability, security and cloud cost efficiency.
• Lead customer technical workshops and solution discussions; evaluate emerging technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with customers and technical teams to deliver complex cloud transformation projects.
