Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Architect specializing in AWS to join our fully remote team. This role designs, implements, and manages scalable, secure cloud infrastructure, defines cloud strategy, and guides development teams in adopting best practices for cloud adoption.

You will lead IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible; ensure security and cost optimization; and provide technical leadership across engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years IT infrastructure experience with at least 5 years in cloud architecture (AWS).
• Deep expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, and EKS.
• Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and disaster recovery principles in the cloud.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills for a remote-first environment.
