Job summary

International Budget Partnership is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist for External Data (Remote/Homebased). The role focuses on defining, setting up, and ingesting external data streams for clinical trials across multiple South African locations.

You will collaborate with data stakeholders to map data, draft data transfer agreements, and ensure compliant data transfer and ingestion into the data capture system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience managing data in clinical research.
• Experience with external data e.g., ECG, biomarkers, EHR.
• Experience developing data transfer agreements.
• Knowledge of SDTM and GCP/ICH.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement external data streams per protocol.
• Coordinate data transfer, ingestion, and structure with stakeholders.
• Create dsTs and data mappings for external data.
• Perform UAT and validation of data transfers.
• Monitor data availability and accuracy from external providers.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and standards.
• Liaise with external data providers to resolve transfer issues.
