Job summary

Morton Moore Financial Services in Kloof, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to manage personal and commercial lines claims from registration through finalisation. This fully office-based role requires strong admin skills, FAIS qualification, and the ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.

You will liaise with clients, assessors and insurers, ensuring accurate documentation and timely settlements per policy terms. Own transport preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of personal and commercial lines claims experience
• FAIS qualification for personal and commercial lines
• Regulatory Examinations completed (e.g. RE5)

Responsibilities

• Manage and process personal & commercial claims from registration to finalisation
• Register new claims and obtain all supporting documents
• Appoint and brief assessors, and follow up on reports
• Authorise repairs within policy terms
• Liaise with clients, insurers, assessors and service providers to move claims efficiently
• Keep clients informed on progress and outcomes
