Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong project management background to oversee infrastructure projects in Nelspruit. This on-site role requires leadership to plan, execute and close projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with multiple stakeholders, manage risks, and lead project teams to deliver critical infrastructure for the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Registration as Professional Engineer (PrEng) mandatory.
• Minimum eight years in civil engineering with five years in PM roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling and execution of civil infrastructure projects.
• Manage budgets, control costs and allocate resources.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants and regulators.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Prepare progress reports and manage close-out activities.
