Placements24 is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer specializing in Water and Sanitation Infrastructure to join a Bloemfontein team. You will lead design, feasibility studies, and construction supervision for water treatment, distribution networks and sewerage systems, ensuring compliance with local standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, PrEng registration, at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency with EPANET, WaterCAD, and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in designing and managing water and sanitation infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in design software: EPANET, WaterCAD, Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of water quality, treatment processes, and pipeline hydraulics.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of water treatment plants, distribution networks, and sewerage systems.
• Prepare feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and detailed engineering designs.
• Manage the construction and implementation phases of water and sanitation projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and local regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct site investigations and provide technical assistance during construction.
