Job summary

Placements24 seeks a diligent Civil Engineer specializing in water and sanitation to join its project team in Mahikeng, North West. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of water supply and wastewater infrastructure to support regional development and public health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in water and sanitation design/management.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software such as EPANET or WaterGEMS.
• Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design water supply networks, treatment plants and distribution systems.
• Develop wastewater collection systems, treatment processes and discharge plans.
• Prepare detailed designs, specifications and cost estimates for water and sanitation projects.
• Ensure compliance with SANS and environmental regulations.
• Manage construction activities including site supervision and quality control.
• Liaise with municipal officials and stakeholders to align project objectives.
