Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 6 years of experience in municipal engineering or public sector infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software.
- Strong knowledge of municipal planning, zoning, and environmental regulations.
- Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and supervise the construction and maintenance of municipal infrastructure like roads, bridges, and public spaces.
- Manage stormwater systems, including design, upgrades, and flood mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement capital improvement programs for municipal assets.
- Ensure compliance with municipal bylaws, national standards, and environmental legislation.
- Coordinate with various municipal departments, external consultants, and contractors.
