Placements24 is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead major civil works in Benoni, Gauteng. You will drive strategic planning, design, and implementation of critical infrastructure projects with a focus on public services.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with standards and budgets, liaise with government agencies, and mentor engineers while delivering high-impact, sustainable solutions for the community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA required.
• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering and project delivery.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of large-scale infrastructure projects (transport, water, sanitation).
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and environmental impact analyses.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications, tender documents, and contract administration.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality, and safety standards.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Liaise with government agencies, stakeholders, and community groups to ensure project success.
