Job summary

Fidelity Services Group is seeking a skilled CCTV Controller to monitor and operate CCTV systems at our Tokai site in the Western Cape. The role focuses on maintaining security by detecting suspicious activity and coordinating with security personnel.

The ideal candidate holds a PSIRA license (Grade A-B) and has prior experience as a Senior CCTV Controller, with strong technical knowledge of CCTV systems and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Psira Certificate (Grade A-B) required.
• Minimum previous experience as Senior CCTV Controller or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV technology and systems.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.
• Familiarity with CCTV surveillance laws and SOPs.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple CCTV screens to detect suspicious activity.
• Operate cameras and focus on specific areas or individuals.
• Report incidents to security personnel or authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of CCTV activities and incidents.
• Regularly inspect CCTV equipment for proper function.
• Troubleshoot CCTV systems with security personnel.
• Coordinate with law enforcement during investigations when required.
• Adhere to company security and surveillance policies.
