Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 and PSIRA Grade C accredited.
• 2+ years in security technician installation and maintenance.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Driver's license.
• Physically able to work in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and set up CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of security systems.
• Monitor and test security systems for safety and compliance.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, responding to service requests promptly.
• Assist with upgrading security systems to incorporate latest technologies.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Ensure installations and repairs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide training to clients or staff on proper use of systems.
• Respond to emergencies and provide on-site support.
• Manage inventory for parts and tools.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Basic IT skills and networking knowledge.
