The ideal candidate holds PSIRA Grade C, Matric, and a technical mindset. A driver’s license and willingness to gain additional certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• PSIRA Grade C accreditation required.
• Minimum 2 years in security tech or similar role.
• Customer-facing experience is beneficial.
• Willingness to pursue further certifications (desirable).
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Monitor system performance and test compliance with safety standards.
• Provide technical support to teams and clients.
• Assist with system upgrades and documentation.
• Maintain detailed records of installations and service requests.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Provide on-site training and guidance to users.
• Respond to emergencies and provide on-site support.
• Manage inventory of parts and tools.
• Demonstrate strong communication and IT literacy.
