Placements24 in Rustenburg is seeking a Catering Operations Manager to oversee all catering services from client consultation to event completion. You will lead planning, staffing, and logistics to ensure flawless execution and quality across diverse events.

You will optimize operations, manage budgets, and maintain strong client and supplier relationships, while ensuring health and safety standards. Flexible hours, evenings and weekends will be required to align with event schedules.

Formación

• A relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in catering or event management within hospitality.
• Experience managing operational budgets and controlling costs.
• Strong leadership and delegation skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in client relationship management and negotiation.
• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee planning, execution and delivery of all catering events, ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Manage and coordinate catering staff and service teams, ensuring proper staffing and training.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Manage event logistics including venue coordination, equipment rental, transportation, and setup/breakdown.
• Control operational costs, manage budgets, and monitor KPIs to ensure profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and venue partners.
• Handle client inquiries, complaints and feedback promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations in catering operations.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
