Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Catering Supervisor to lead our prestigious catering team in Centurion, Gauteng. The role demands a hands-on leader who delivers exceptional culinary experiences and impeccable service for a range of events.

You will oversee daily operations, manage a dedicated team, schedule staff, ensure food safety standards, and maintain strong client relations. A successful candidate will motivate staff, optimise service quality, and drive continuous improvement

Formación

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role within catering or hospitality.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with event setup, execution and breakdown.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Must reside in Centurion or willing to commute.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate catering service delivery for events in Centurion and surrounding areas.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure food and beverage service meets high standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and vendor relationships.
• Conduct pre-event briefings with clients and staff for smooth execution.
• Manage event setup, service, and breakdown to meet client requirements.
• Respond to client feedback or operational issues promptly.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in menu planning and costing with the culinary team.
