Placements24 is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to oversee corporate event catering in Centurion. You will lead client relationships, coordinate event logistics, supervise staff, and ensure seamless service delivery at high-profile gatherings.

The ideal candidate has a strong hospitality background, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive leadership style. You will manage proposals, budgets, and contracts, while upholding health and safety standards and delivering outstanding

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Catering Management or Event Management within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service, event logistics, and operations.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of corporate catering events, from initial client consultation to post-event follow-up.
• Develop proposals and quotes, negotiating contracts and ensuring profitability of events.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, service teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
• Supervise event staff on-site, providing clear direction and ensuring adherence to service standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met throughout the event planning and execution process.
