Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead capital development projects in the Nelspruit region. You will oversee planning, design development, procurement, construction, and project closeout, coordinating with investors, authorities, and partners.

The role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and financial acumen, with experience in real estate development and a hybrid work environment. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/real estate related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years in project management with a focus on real estate development and capital projects.
• Proven track record delivering diverse property development projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contract management, and site supervision.
• Excellent financial acumen with budget management for large projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver capital development projects from planning to handover.
• Create comprehensive project plans with scope, budget, schedule, and resources.
• Oversee design development ensuring code/regulatory compliance.
• Manage procurement for contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Supervise construction activities ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project finances including cost tracking and cash flow forecasting.
• Stakeholder liaison with investors, authorities, and community representatives.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management.
