The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in mechanical CAD, expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and/or Inventor, and a meticulous eye for detailing fabrication-ready drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or diploma in mechanical engineering technology, drafting or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of CAD Technician experience with mechanical design focus.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
• Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software per designs.
• Ensure drawings comply with standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage CAD drawing databases and revision control.
• Create BOMs and part lists from CAD models.
• Perform basic design calculations and checks as required.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Stay updated with latest CAD features and best practices.
• Provide CAD-related technical support to engineering teams.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of all drafted documentation.
