Qualifications

• National Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD Technician or Mechanical Designer.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and 2D drafting.
• Understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with the on-site engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings from engineering sketches and specifications.
• Assist engineers in performing basic design calculations and analyses.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other production documentation.
• Support the fabrication and assembly of prototypes and test fixtures.
• Maintain and organize design files and engineering databases.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design intent is understood and implemented correctly.
