WSP in Africa is seeking a Senior Engineer in its C&I department with exposure to ELV. This full-time role is based in Cape Town or Midrand and involves designing, budgeting, BIM/CAD planning and providing technical advisory across project phases.

You should bring a BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical Engineering, ECSA registration, and 10+ years in C&I engineering, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc/BTech).
• Professional registration with ECSA as PE or Technologist.
• Minimum 10 years in C&I engineering.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling and resourcing.
• Familiar with SANS 10142, GCC/NEC/JBCC/FIDIC contracts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit; BIM360/ACC/ProjectWise.
• Knowledge of PLC/DCS and SCADA/HMI systems.

Aufgaben

• Formulate and supervise C&I designs, processes and procedures.
• Develop budgets and timelines for C&I projects with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Ensure quality and methodologies of C&I work.
• Lead opportunities for new projects and process improvements.
• Prepare and deliver project presentations to clients and management.
• Manage tender deliverables and schedules.
• Promote safety, equality and diversity in the work environment.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ, health and environment policies.
• Design PLC/DCS; formulate SCADA/HMI systems.
• Create industrial network designs (fiber, TCP, serial).
• Interface with 3rd party controllers via OPC/API.
• Evaluate contractor performance and oversee commissioning quality.
