Job summary

thyssenkrupp is seeking a senior project process engineer in South Africa to lead C&I and control system design across all project phases from feasibility through commissioning.

The role requires a BSc./B.Eng. in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, 12–15 years of experience, and Professional Registration with ECSA. Previous exposure to energy/chemical sectors and large contracting projects is essential.

Qualifications

• BSc./B.Eng. Electrical/ Electronic Engineering with 12–15 years of engineering experience.
• Lead Engineer on at least 3 large projects in basic/detail engineering.
• Experience in energy and chemical/refining/petrochemical industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer on projects across feasibility to commissioning.
• Develop and check C&I deliverables, control narratives, and SIL documentation.
• Specification of instrumentation and field wiring and loop diagrams.
