Job summary

WSP is seeking a seasoned ELV & ICT engineer in South Africa’s Gauteng region. The role focuses on design, implementation and close-out of Building Controls, CCTV, access control, fibre, and related ELV/ICT systems within Building Services.

The ideal candidate has a minimum BTech in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, 5+ years post-graduation experience, and solid Revit/ACC knowledge. SAQCC registration is advantageous and a Pr Eng/Tech Eng path is valued.

Qualifications

• A minimum BTech degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consulting engineering service for the design, implementation and close-out of Building Controls & Telecommunications infrastructure as well as ICT & ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.
• Lead design sections from inception to close-out including documentation and procurement.
• Coordinate with Building Services and manage projects within ELV & ICT domains.
• Utilise Autodesk BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and CAD software to develop and review designs.
